What is the Spherix Network?

The Spherix Network is a group of healthcare providers serving high touch patient populations including dialysis, auto-immune diseases and multiple sclerosis. The Spherix Network is the research arm of Spherix Global Insights, an independent market research firm that focuses on assessing current treatment paradigms and understanding how they are likely to shift in the future.

Who can be part of the Spherix Network?

The Spherix Network is open to physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other ancillary health care professionals from across the globe who want to share their opinions about optimizing patient management.

How do I join your network?

Registration is open to physicians located both in the United States and internationally. Your registration confirms your interest in receiving electronic invitations to our market research engagements.

We at Spherix Global Insights maintain a vast network of experts interested in receiving invitations for paid opportunities for participation in healthcare-related surveys, online panel discussions, phone interviews, advisory boards, and in-person meetings and focus groups.

What information do you collect upon registration to your network?

We will collect information such as your name, contact data and medical license number. This information will be used to contact you and process your payment after your participation in our research studies. Furthermore, you will be ask to provide more information about your specialty, academic affiliation and your credentials. This information will be used to offer you the most applicable participation options.

How will I be chosen to participate?

After registering as part of the Spherix Network, there is a validation process that we undertake to ensure authenticity of the data provided. You will then receive invitations (via email) to surveys and other market research opportunities that are potentially relevant to your specialty and background. You are under no obligation to participate in any of these surveys, your participation is completely voluntary, and you will be compensated for your participation. There may be more specific requirements for any particular study you are invited to participate in, and there may be additional “screening” questions in any of these surveys.

When I receive an invitation, how quickly should I respond if I wish to participate?

Our market research surveys are generally open for a period of 7 days, however, some research surveys will have higher than anticipated response rates, so it is often best to complete the surveys within 48-72 hours of receiving the invitation.

How long is the study?

The length of each study varies. However, details such as length and study objectives are included in the survey invitation.

Will my personal identifiable information (“PII”) be revealed to anyone outside of Spherix Network / Spherix Global Insights?

We at Spherix Global Insights are dedicated to the market research code of ethics and respect the market research authorities and their guidelines on collecting personal identifiable information. Therefore, we will never reveal any information without your written permission.

Who are Spherix Global insights’ clients and how is the data used?

Our clients are biopharmaceutical companies and financial institutions who are seeking expert opinions from healthcare professionals and patients. The data gathered in our studies  will be used to provide market insights on i) current marketplace dynamics; ii) how the marketplace is evolving, iii) how products in development may impact currently available therapeutic options; and iv) how the marketplace is reacting to marketing campaigns (i.e. representative messaging). Spherix only reports out data in aggregate; respondents are not identified specifically in our publications. Spherix data is maintained in a secure server environment.

How will the honorarium be processed?

The honoraria offered is based on the length and complexity of the survey. Spherix processes honoraria generally within 2-3 weeks after you have completed your survey. In the United States, we are required to issue a Form 1099 if your annual compensation exceeds $600 (calendar year).
